HI! I'M KARIN

I am on a mission to redefine female fitness and support women in achieving their fitness goals.

I am passionate about improving women’s health and well-being. For me, exercise has always been key to my well-being and happiness, and I firmly believe that a healthy mind thrives in a healthy body.

My journey as a coach, now spanning more than 15 years, began in children gymnastics, evolved through group fitness and indoor cycling, and ultimately led me to discover my passion for CrossFit and Functional Fitness in 2018. What started as my personal athletic pursuit turned into professional training and education.

As both an athlete and a woman, I noticed something important: Fitness recommendations that worked well for men often didn’t provide the same results for me. I experienced strength and energy fluctuations throughout my menstrual cycle and found that intense training regimens—widely promoted as the only path to improvement—just did not work for me. Motivated to understand this better, I turned to researching about gender differences in fitness, where I discovered that most exercise science has been conducted on men (more than 90%!). Topics like our menstrual cycle, the width of our hips, or menopause were not a part of most research articles.

This insight led me to pursue specialized education and become a female fitness performance coach, certified by the German Sports Academy. Today, I specialize in coaching women across all life stages with this gender-specific knowledge.
